Windows has a fantastic feature called Windows system restore

This is essential for the development of operating systems, it not only allows you to recover from a corrupted or problematic system, but also allows you to recover any date when the restore point was created.

Typically system restore on Microsoft will create a restore point, where the system change, this may include things such as installing software or driver updates and more.

You can also create restore points whenever you want, but note they used disk space, so that once you happy your computer working properly, every now and then is a good idea to keep things tidy by removing all with the exception of the most recent restore point.
