i turn my CPU 3.8 GHZ to 8 GHZ and then i heard my computer shouting

  2. Edge0fPain says:

I like that it’s making overclocking easier for people, although I have no need for that…

What I’m scared of is if it starts to become so easy that eventually no one will bother with BIOS overclocking…..

@opilako invest 30 dollars in a coolermaster hyper 212 plus and your temps will PLUMMET. i did a small review of it on my channel here watch?v=DX1PxVE4s7c (not a spam link, I promise)

  5. FsimulatorX says:

    @Marens777 be thankful that you didn’t get the i5 2500 or i3 2100

    I love this CPU! ! !
Even at stock it’s so fast. I mean, 3.4Ghz! WoW… that’s higher than 24/7 OC I used on my Q8400… and this is the STOCK speed! lol
I plan to reach out and touch 5Ghz here soon, not 24/7 ofc… but to get my validation for the 5Ghz Club on OCN and maybe some benchmarks ^_^

  7. MegaMnguyen says:

@Marens777 3.4 ghz is plenty dude

  8. Dex1n says:

@Chaotic6666 If you ask me, no it isn’t. At start of next year if I remember right new socket comes and replaces LGA 1366. So not really wise to spend so much money on some CPU which is going to get "outdated" in about half year or so. On my opinion go for i7 2600K, especially when it seems you’re new to overclocking. And if you’re using it mostly for gaming, i7 2600K is more than enough. Also the i5 2500K is a very nice chip as well… You don’t need to pay so much to get great performance CPU.

  14. Chaotic6666 says:

@TimeToLiveCustoms Haha all good =), OH But in the Long Run… Is the 990x worth it?

  15. TimeToLiveCustoms says:

@Chaotic6666 970 is actually where the smart money is. but bare in mind a 2600K is quicker. As for overclocking it 1366 isnt easy, so get an 1155 unless you are willing to put the time in to learn it all. As for me telling you, it aint gunna happen sorry I just dont have the time.

  16. opilako says:

@un7ucky i already got coolermaster V6GT but thanks anyway ;)

  17. un7ucky says:

@opilako dont know if you’ve looked else were but i recommend coolmaster as a great brand for fans

  18. mikarkenis says:

@gaffatape98 The 2600K is *like u said* running off of a 1155 socket, while a 990x is running off of a 1366 socket, so yes, you will need to buy a new motherboard that supports 1366 socket

  19. FEENPC says:

Can i overclock the Intel i7 2600K processor to 4.5Ghz using the stock fan included?

  20. gaffatape98 says:

I have a question when it comes to this CPU and motherboards. Because if i buy this CPU with a 1155 motherboard, am i able change to a 990x then? Or will i need a new motherboard with another socket?

  21. MegaMnguyen says:

got the 2600k but still waiting for bulldozer instead of buying a 990x

  22. TimeToLiveCustoms says:

@KSQPhotography it will set to 1333 if availble out of the box. You only have to change settings in the bios for 1600 – 1866 – and 2133 should you wish to buy faster speeds. Just make sure you are happy with adjusting things in the bios. There are plenty of guides on the net though :)
