Another may and other HP battery recall. This time around the US consumer product safety Commission announced the return of 162,000 Li-ion battery packs that were sold with HP and Compaq notebooks.

In May of 2010 there has been no battery recall HP affecting 54,000 battery packs of working in, and may before the return of 70 000.

According to the recall message, HP has received 40 reports 2010 withdrawal of batteries that overheated and torn, resulting in seven recording injuries, one smoke inhalation injury and 36 occurrence of damage to property. Affected systems have been sold of the computer and electronics stores nationwide, hp.com and hpshopping.com from July 2007 through July 2008 for between $ 500 and $ 3,000. Battery packs are also sold separately for between $ 100 and $ 160.
