if only my old cpu had broken a few days later (last summer), now I’d have an i5 too!! And I’d have overclocked it. Now I own a Q9550 @3,57GHz with a Zalman cnps9700 and temperature is good at 1,275V (32°C or 89°F)

3.4 with stock cooler and stock voltages 1.26v is realy easy and good temp and if you want to go further you will need good airflow on the case or change the stock cooler for better :)
