The Ultimate CPU Overclocking Guide!
This is a final video of me running a Nvidia PhsyX 9800GT Card With an ATI Radeon 5850 overclock @9001200 with a CPU processor also overclock @ 4.0Ghz using a Corsair H50 Water CPU cooler (Super Lapped). G.Skill Trident 2000Mhz DDR3 RAM and Gigabyte P55 USB mobo. Note that the PhsyX is running on a 4X PCIe slot. PhsyX doesnt need that much power or bandwith.

@cncmasterw Well you’re right and wrong at the same time, because they have PhysX mod for the 197.57 drivers from Nvidia PhysX Mod 1.03 and I am using it right now.

  2. cncmasterw says:

Dude.. nvidia made it so the newer drivers for the Nvidia Phyx Cards To not support ATI anymore.. if a ATI card is Detected The Phyx Shuts off.. this is not the case in older drivers. :D

  3. keiki646 says:

@SylentCommando No my card is not a MSI, it’s a Sapphire and MSI afterburner you can download it and youtube how to edit MSI afterburner with 5850

  4. SylentCommando says:

oh, why is your card msi? you can use amd gpu clock tool too.

  5. keiki646 says:

@SylentCommando MSI afterburner, note that you would have to edit the Msi afterburner CFG file in the folder. Also when you do edit this file to make sure that you’re not using the MSI afterburner and to make sure the exe is not in operation when editing it. But you can saved as to put the file in document for now and then you can replace with your new file (if you are not able to edit and save it)

  6. SylentCommando says:

what did you use to overclock the 5850, rivatuner, or ati overdrive?

  7. keiki646 says:

@SylentCommando Oh without a doubt that the 5850 is worth the money and low on power as well. Overclocking it to 925/1200 is not the highest i can go but can go higher than that if I watercooled it.

  8. SylentCommando says:

i didnt know about it untill recently, i have always had nvidia cards in the past, but my recent build i got a ati 5850 same as you,it was worth the money excellent peformance with low cost

  9. keiki646 says:

@SylentCommando first build computer was in 2000 but PhysX with ATI card is not new but I never thought about doing it until a friend told me I should. My new video that i posted (update: ATI Radeon5850 @925.1200 with Dedicated Nvidia PhysX Card) shows a higher score.) I been working on the voltages and setting last night and now have it where I’d like it to be

  10. SylentCommando says:

how long have you been building computers for?

  11. keiki646 says:

@SylentCommando Oh now I am aware of it since last night

  12. SylentCommando says:

pci-e x 16 video card on x4 pci-e slot, 4x does not matter in with physx card have and even a sli or crossfire. I have seen ppl running there physx or video card in a 1 X Pci-e slot lol, pretty crazy. what are you runnig for an os 32-bit or 64.

  13. keiki646 says:

@SylentCommando you can use that as well

  14. SylentCommando says:

    i am using 1.03 patch,

  15. keiki646 says:

    @SylentCommando you might need to

  16. keiki646 says:

    @SylentCommando use the 1.02 Mod

  17. SylentCommando says:

iam using 197.45 drivers so do i need to extend?

  18. keiki646 says:

@SylentCommando well if you using driver 195xx then yes but if it is 197.57 no

  19. SylentCommando says:

so do you have it extended now? or no? do you still have to extend the display

  20. keiki646 says:

@SylentCommando I did use the new mods and extend was the last thing I did but at time I would have to play fake with the mod and card to get it right. Only problem is that PhsyX enables are not show in games that well

  21. SylentCommando says:

how did you setup the physx? did you make a fake display in display setting in screen resolution advanced settings. did you extend the display or not extend the display? I know in the new physx mod it says you dont have to extend the display.
