i5 2500k @ 4.0ghz HIS HD 5770 1GB 8 GB G-Skill DDR3-1600 MSI P-67 Mobo I get 50-60 FPS if Im not recording, 40-45 while recording with FRAPS. I have certain graphic features turned off because I cannot tell the difference the performance gains are greater than the "shinyness" :P Any Questions? Leave a comment, Ill get back to you

    @laughingatyouforever probably just as well as I can. I wouldn’t worry a bit.

  2. laughingatyouforever says:

    how well can i run it with a 6770-i5 2500k stock speed 3.3 GHz and 8 gigs of ram?

  3. ThisMakesMeThink says:

    @xnipet26 well, i tried ultra for a while, but at 1080p, the 5770 doesn’t perform quite as well as it does on high. Plus i really couldn’t tell the difference between high and ultra.

  4. xnipet26 says:

    Hey man… I got a XFX Radeon HD5770 1GB, I play Ultra on Multiplayer.. you have a better CPU than I, you know what? I think you have failed a bit, try Ultra!

    @Ampex101 Yeah, i do other things besides gaming, i’m pleased with the p67 chipset. Plus I’ll be able to upgrade to ivy bridge eventually. I’d love to upgrade my gpu, but for all the games I play, I can’t justify it. My 5770 still runs everything perfect, pretty good for a $99 card.

    @str1ka1 u can’t judge a book a it’s cover man

  7. ThisMakesMeThink says:

    @str1ka1 I’ve had this graphics card for a while, I’ll prolly upgrade to a 7000 series eventually, but for now it plays nearly every game I own on high enough settings for me. BF3 loves cores and clock rate however, and I do not feel that a 2500k is overpowered for the game.

  8. str1ka1 says:

    What was the point in getting a beast CPU, and a cheap graphics card? Could’ve gone for a cheaper CPU, and a better graphics card – would’ve had 10 times better performance.
    Stupid.

  9. Graphixa1479 says:

    @simranjeet36 Well we can see that his processor is overclocked to 4.0ghz…mine is at 2.8. He got 8G Ram 1600mhz..for myself I have 4G 1333mhz..

  10. Graphixa1479 says:

    @simranjeet36 Im with the 5770 HD (Which is renamed 6770HD). I’m a bit afraid to overclock my Processor cuz i don’t know what will be the limit to not overburn it..same for my GPU.
    I’m around 30fps when graphic at High..I really need to play all at low without ExtraVisual to get 55-60fps.

  11. simranjeet36 says:

    @Graphixa1479 i5 760 and i5 2500k at clock to clock have very very small differences in terms of performance especially in Gaming, What GPU do you have? if it’s a 5770 or 6770 then the most likely issue will be that something is wrong with software rather than hardware and a reformat should solve this issue, also note that he has overclocked his i5 whereas your i5 is at stock, Overclocking will give you better performance

    @ThisMakesMeThink Cheers

  13. ThisMakesMeThink says:

    @GethAreAwesome I’d say so, any modern quad core will do great with this game. a 650 should be fine :)

  14. GethAreAwesome says:

    Will I get the same performance with a 5770 core i5 650 3.2 GHz?

  15. N1KO357 says:

    @ThisMakesMeThink thank you for this information i look forward to playing this game at a good frame rate

  16. ThisMakesMeThink says:

    @N1KO357 yeah, it will be the same or better, because the 6770 is basically the same card. I’m very pleased with my 2500k.

  17. Graphixa1479 says:

    @ThisMakesMeThink I’m running with I5-760..what mean Quad Core 2.8Ghz.
    I know I can run Bf3 with High graphic with all ExtraVisual disable..but it’s not 100% fluid. You’ll see the difference if you put everything at Low and everything at High..got what I mean ?..it didn’t run perfectly on High.

  18. ThisMakesMeThink says:

    @Graphixa1479 What processor are you running? With a dual core this game chugs with this graphics card, but with a quad it flies.. As you can see, bf3 runs fine on high w/ no AA.

  19. Graphixa1479 says:

    Personnaly I got the same Graphic card..when I play with these settings I feel the lag..what you can’t feel while watching the video. To play at 100% you need to put down everything to Low with ExtraVisual off..to get around 50fps. At everything on Medium you can play with good fps but you can feel that it’s not fluid at all. So don’t buy this card thinkin you will play Bf3 with High Setting with a totaly smooth gameplay

    @ThisMakesMeThink Thanks bro, i’m waiting.

  21. ThisMakesMeThink says:

    @konradbnet I have the 11.10 drivers i think, they are or were beta drivers. I’ll make a follow up video when i get back to my dorm room.

  22. konradbnet says:

    Did You installed unofficial drivers? What did You set in Catalistic Center? Can You make screenshots? Please & thanks.

  23. lars38010 says:

    @ThisMakesMeThink a yes than you can get easy nice fps
