gonna buy that card next month but could you tell me if an OCZ MODXSTREAM 700W is good enough for that card? I’m planning to but the xfx HD 6970 xxx version.
Other specs are Phenom II x6 1090T and 4gb Ram.

what the min fps on this config ??

  5. Mario0Dante says:

@olgert56 I checked guru3d…for this game they had exactly the same performance, everything maxed 8xAA 16xAF 1920×1200, 56 fps average…so i would say just go for the brand you like more, the 6970 is around 20-30 bucks cheaper if this helps in something.

@olgert56 There about the same it just comes down to your opinion. And what you like.

Which is better and faster Nvidia Geforce GTX 570 or AMD Radeon HD 6970???

Hey again, i mounted my new pc with that exact same model of i3, i have to say that im very happy with the processor itself, it is very fast and it runs extremely cool, i can’t even hear the CPU fan noise, and also coupled with a OCZ psu with 0% fan noise. Thanks for all the help you gave me.

For the videocard, im currently looking at the Radeon HD6850, it’s cheap around here and it’s performance looks very good for the price, im really looking forward to it.

@chiefgeargrinder Hmmm well im getting a Asrock H55M-LE motherboard, i read it have a function called Turbo 50 that overclocks the processor for it to hit up to 4GHz, but only if the temps allow it, otherwise it will overclock less. But otherwise i can try doing it on the bios, im not very used to overclocking and changing voltages.

  13. chiefgeargrinder says:

@Mario0Dante stock will be a little slow you need to get to 3.8 or higher which is crazy easy to do.. it really shines at a high speeds and uses very little power and runs cool.

  14. Mario0Dante says:

@chiefgeargrinder Really thanks! Thats was all the info i needed to be confirmed, i was worried about the i3 not being able to handle well the games, but now im going for the i3 540 very confident, i see you have a heavy overclock on it, does it performs well at stock speed? But either way, thank you dude now i can save the money for a better videocard.

  15. Mario0Dante says:

Hey man, can i ask you a thing? i noticed you have this gameplay on a i3 540 and on a i7 875k…do you noticed a big performance diference? I watched both videos and the framerates were both just alike, i want to know coz im on a budget and i was planing on getting it because of its price. Thank you for the help

  16. bozzoo1983 says:

wow huge difference with the HD 6870

  17. captainclayman says:
