  2. rafcon05 says:

    Great cooler i have my i3 550 @ 4.2 ghz and never goes over 50 with any kind of load and idles at 20-25.

    @JooHaxDemoTaken like i said everyone has different opinions on what is stable
    couple of months ago i booted my i7 920 at 4.8GHz on air
    i couldnt do anything with it as it would just crash but it was still stable enough for what i needed it to do which was a CPUz validation and Wprime
    i buy hardware just to benchmark no other reason for it 9 times out of 10 i buy stuff i dont even need run benchmaks on it and then sell it again with in a couple of days

  4. JooHaxDemoTaken says:

    @pccomponetreviewer No offence mate but if it crashes at all then how the f**** is that stable? It makes no sense to me.
    "Stable..Consistently dependable; steadfast of purpose."
    As for the "i`m a benchmarker" Well sure, we all run benchmarks but i`m sure you dont do it 8 hours a day everyday?
    Currently running a 2600k here on a watercool heatkiller rev 3, at 4.8ghz.stable for the last 3 weeks doing everything and anything without a single crash.

  5. pccomponetreviewer says:

    @Vleesball that would be epic

  6. Vleesball says:

    It sticks out of some cases that arnt wide enough :p cut out a little part make it look like one of those cars where the engine sticks out the hood.
    epic or not?

  7. msfattytroll says:

    Hyper 212 plus + 2x scythe slipstream fans (110 cfm at ~2000 rpm EACH) in push/pull = godly cpu cooling

  8. pccomponetreviewer says:

    @JooHaxDemoTaken i am a benchmarker dude
    if it boots then imo it is stable.
    also everybody has a different opinion on what is stable. alot say 8 hours prime95

  9. yippyjp says:

    Hey great video but my sub goes mental when you breathe :)

  10. thedevo01 says:

    Is the stock fan that you got with the 212+ attached to the heatsink in some way worse than the one with the LEDs that you put on the heatsink in the video?

  11. HenkSpankK says:

    @pccomponetreviewer
    okay thanks.
    i think i wil buy the scythe mugen 2 rev b
    i believe it’s a little bit quieter

  12. pccomponetreviewer says:

    @HenkSpankK only the black fan is included
    you can buy any 120mm case fan and it will fit on there though

  13. HenkSpankK says:

    are the 2 fans with the cooler included?
    if not, where can i buy them?

  14. chamilitary999 says:

    iq this cpu cooler efficient?

  15. pccomponetreviewer says:

    @olivierhacking oh i see what you mean now
    thought you meant the stock intel fan :/
    i would replace it with 2x sickleflow fans

  16. olivierhacking says:

    @pccomponetreviewer but which fans are they? cus i just got this cooler :D and im not sure if i should buy 1x sickleflow and still keep the custom fan, or to replace the custom fan as well (2x sickleflow) ?. what seems better

  17. pccomponetreviewer says:

    @olivierhacking yep alot better
    that i5 at stock using the stock fan reached temps of around 100C under load
    then i got that hyper 212+ i was able to OC to 4GHz and under load it never went above 70C

  18. olivierhacking says:

    do the custom fan(s) cool better than the stock fan?

  19. pccomponetreviewer says:

    @bvestationfan maybe the cheaper ones but not the more high end ones like the silver arrow

  20. bvestationfan says:

    IMO using the stock Core i7 980x cooler is just as good as a third party cooler

  21. TheJordanjones3 says:

    @pwnagex1 From what i understand you need a case width of 21.5 cm.

  22. tybaltordie says:

    @pwnagex1 You should note that this heatsink has a 4 pin connector.

  23. NissanskylineBrs says:

    what are your temp on standart 2.66 ghz? idle en load ?

  24. pccomponetreviewer says:

    @pwnagex1
    if your board is any of these it will fit
    AM2
    AM2+
    AM3
    LGA 775
    LGA 1156
    LGA 1366
    i can not comment on whether or not it will fit the case
