The Ultimate CPU Overclocking Guide!
Filling a request on one of my video comments to show off the performance of the i3 processor while over clocked. I have it at 4.3GHz it ships at 3.07GHz in the video you can see my CPUID description and Im not quite sure what exactly was asked for me to do so I just played several HD videos at once opened a bunch of windows and the program I use for editing any of the videos I post on here. If you guys have any other requests let me know I will post them up and show you whatever you may be interested in. I couldnt figure out how to stop the recording

@TheWoWRevelation why would you use a h70 on an i3-550? why dont you just go i7 with stock cooling?

What program did you use to overclock, and how ?
I’ve heard that you can hit 4.6 easy and 5.0 with kinda high voltages. I read a review on the i3 540 that said you can hit 5.6 with good cooling but they hit a base wall fsb at 250 or something with the multiplier at 23.

what would the max overclokc on this CPU be? would it be higher on the 550? water cooling of course (corsair H70)

best cpu ever cost / performance/ reliability / oc ratio is criminal . On stock cooler u can keep it stable at 4 ghz even in summer , imagine what can u do with it when u have megahalems on top :> .
