    Would this work on a ASUS P7P55D Pro Motherboard?

  2. chadmain says:

    Nice setup man, I’ve got the same motherboard (Evo version though) and CPU, runs great.

    @bobbylou122
    for my own opinion..the i5 750′s stock cooler cant control the cpu’s heat
    so a low profile cpu cooler will be good like the CM TX3 if ur doing a mild oc
    but if ur going to push to its limit u should get a top of the line CPU cooler Air or Water cooling system.

  9. bobbylou122 says:

    Would I need to buy a separate heat sink for my cpu? On CPU-Z It says my core speed is @ 2.8GHz, but the stock speed is @ 2.66GHz. Im planning to OC my i5-750 to 3.0 or 3.2GHz, would I have to buy another Heatsink or cpu cooler for this speed?

    Alsom its ona P7P55D Pro mobo from Asus and i have a ati radeon 5770

  15. sani12care88 says:

    @OLEKStechdeckDGK

    yeah dont buy a set type computer. just build a RIG AMD / Intel.
    and fo OC. it will void ur warranty.

  16. OLEKStechdeckDGK says:

    @sani12care88 well im going to build my pc, i dont want to buy one already built.
    i will buy each piece separately, if i overclock my CPU will i lost it’s warranty?

  17. sani12care88 says:

    @OLEKStechdeckDGK

    yeah…^^ unless u tell that uve oc ur components ^^,

  18. OLEKStechdeckDGK says:

    noob here.
    Does overlocking void warranty?

  19. Napibooi says:

    @sani12care88 ill try to overclock both.. :D ill try to up the volts to 1.6.. and by the way i got the Patriot signature line DDR3-1333 1.5 volts CL9 with the Heat sink.. thanks dude

    @Danish319

    yes sir you can
    your motherboard is more good than me
    i guess you will have a great result on
    overclocking.
    it would be good if you bough a 550W instead
    450VX although its a product of corsair
    i admire corsair’s rating on their PSU’s
    try to crank it up to 3.8 or 3.6 :)

  21. sani12care88 says:

    @Napibooi
    nobody knows the lifespan of a memory or the processor it self.
    if your plan is to overclock your CPU and your Memory make sure
    that its properly cooled and ventilated.
    if in your case if your plan is to OC your Processor alone
    you should select the lower frequency of your memory
    as for me im OC’ing both for more better result

  22. Napibooi says:

    hey dude. noob question… your DRAM freqency is at 1800mhz, i have a 1333mhz ram most of the videos i saw here recommend anything below in my case (1333) increasing it to more than 1333 would that shorten the lifespan of your memory?? im having a hard time understanding the memory part.. thanks. :D

  23. Danish319 says:

    can i overclock it safely on a corsair 450vx psu?
    this is my cofig:
    core i5 750
    asus p7p55d
    corsair xms3 4gb kit
    sapphire 5770
    500Gb seagate

  24. Napibooi says:

    gonna use your settings as a reference.. :D
