i have x2 240 and gtx 460… would i3 530 be good for my system?

  7. Novarberor says:

@tiagom135 yo man how true is that if i overclock my i3 530 at 4ghz it could run better at games than i5 750 or at some games, how about crysis and metro 2033, wich one to choose with a gtp 460 or an ati 4870 cf?

  8. VidsEpic says:

    LOL
An i3 is 138 dollars that awesome coolermaster v8 cooler is 60 dollars.
That’s 200 dollars, you could have just bought an i5 for 200 dollars with a regular cooler and got the same perfomance as your overclocked i3!
    What’s the point.
It’s just like buying a Pentium 4 for 25 dollars and a liquid cooling system for 150 dollars to overclock it to 5GHz or something.

  9. tiagom135 says:

@rasen013 when you oc i3 540 properly it can be faster than the 750 at games

  10. rasen013 says:

@Rapagangsta Lol wasting, i see it more like an investment… it really depends, if you are aiming for an i5 you should be looking at i5 750, it is the true quadcore. The i5 6xx are just dualcore with HT, same as i3. If you can OC the i3 then it will be better than any i5 6xx.

  11. AlliieB says:

@Rapagangsta you should definetly pick the core i5, its a quad core and it makes alot of difference when you play games like GTA 4, Crysis, Bad Company 2 etc.

  12. Rapagangsta says:

Hey, I’m going to build a computer, would you recommend wasting more money on the Intel Core i5? Or should I stick on the Intel Core i3?
