You made the same mistake I did, buying an Antec 900 >.< how dusty is your case now?

  2. staticatmx says:

@kapz987 It’s thermal grease. For better connection between cpu and cooler, fill’s microscopic air-gaps.

  11. starwarsfan76 says:

@TearsOfWar1 Lol It’s not a big contender at all. My 1055t beat my friends 920 BY A LOT.

  12. TearsOfWar1 says:

@starwarsfan76 Fact of the matter is, the 920 is a big contender to the top of the line from AMD, which is sad.

  13. starwarsfan76 says:

@TearsOfWar1 Not really. My 1055t beat out my friends 920.

  14. 53447lee says:

  15. TearsOfWar1 says:

If this is for gaming, that i7 920 is actually faster than the AMD top tier hexacore ;)

Is that a piece of cloth that you’re working on?? It’s not a good idea to work on computer parts on a piece of cloth as cloth generates static electricity which can kill your parts.. This IS obviously your virgin build lol.. No offence (: The fan the back on your heat sink is pointed at the wrong direction by the way.. It should be pulling air away from the heat sink (:

  17. wwyk1993 says:

@TickleMeSillyXx Antec 1200 is bigger than the 900.. And the cable management system in the 900 is terrible from what I see (:

  18. wwyk1993 says:

@shmuck50 It’s called thermal paste, or thermal compound, or thermal grease.. It’s used to fill in the microscopic gaps between the processor and the heat sink base to maximize contact between the processor and the heat sink for maximum cooling (:

  19. wwyk1993 says:

@benzipz If no budget is the case, and money is not an object for you, go with the GTX580.. Or maybe two of them in SLi.. Or better still, wait for the next dual GPU nVidia to come out (:
