Do you want to build a quick launch system without purchasing and installing a solid state drive? Gigabyte gives you another option having launched new motherboard, 20 GB SSD baked right in.


Z68XP-UD3-iSSD is based on the new Z68 Express Chipset Intel Sandy Bridge processors and comes with a new m-SATA Intel semiconductor device 311 series unit. Z68 introduces smart response technology of Intel to improve system performance by caching and 20 GB app gives you enough space to park your operating system and some frequently used programs to take advantage of it. Intel claims that technology gives 60 percent speed adaptation of pure hard disk based system, as well as the fourfold performance improvement over hybrid SSD-hard disk settings.


Mobo also comes with switchable graphics technology LucidLogix Virtu, that allows you to switch between Intel integrated graphics and a discrete graphics card, or cards, depending on the application. You will receive two PCI Express x 16 slots, CrossFireX and SLI support for multi-graphics card technology, a handful of SATA 6Gbps and USB 3.0 connectors and the gigabyte BIOS touch for easy tweaking of the BIOS.


Gigabyte has announced price for Z68XP-UD3-iSSD, which will tell you much about whether it is a value with the motherboard with embedded SSD or get a different mobo and single SSD. They plan to make it available at the beginning of June, so that you won’t need to wait long to find out how much it will put the backup.
