I already owns Griffin iTrip FM transmitter for my old iPod, but when I link it to my iPhone, it suffers from annoying, as well as during the deafening howls of interference, unless handset is in the airplane.

So I had two choices-live with howling or buy a new FM transmitter.

I bought a new FM transmitter, and since I had previously been so impressed by the iTrip, iTrip from Amazon I updated.

There are several things that I like for this FM transmitter:

First, no howls. Perhaps not as good as a Bluetooth connection, sound quality and include, the need to set up the iPhone and radio, but work and overall sound is more than acceptable. can I control the transmitter, or by physical buttons or use the app, you are prompted to install. I can hold iTrip in the iPhone without having to remove it is (in my case Rebel Switcheasy).SmartScan technology makes finding a quiet patch in the spectrum of the FM easily.

Very happy with my new iTrip!
