Thanks it really helped…seems stable..running prime95 for an hour and still stable
Can you leave voltage on Auto?
After I did this my computer doesn’t start. Anyone know how I can undo this?
mine is at 4.2
this song is creepy
That’s some good music. Great choice.
Nice rig too!
@MultiKidTrunks Just heat sink and fan, but what keeps it cool is the antec 900 case. And in that vid I had an geforce 9800gtx, but now i have 3 in sli.
what cpu cooler do you have? (and wich gpu?^^)
@trick0077 yes, exactly. You’ll be amazed at the difference. I was lucky though and had no stability issues, but with some unique builds that vary in memory types there may be some stability issues. when you do punch in all the numbers be sure to go to "O.C. Profile" in bios and save your settings so you can jump between system defaults and the save. also install "Pc Probe" that comes with the asus mobo driver disk. It will monitor the fans and heat of the mobo and cpu.
@meanClo7h wow thanks so i just punch in all the same stuff in the list u provided rite?
@trick0077 ah yes definitely. im only using the stock heatsink and fan that comes with the i7-930 and it only hits 55c under an extreme load, and the threshold is 75c.
@meanClo7h like cpu cooler r u using? would i be able to do the same with my noctua nh u12p se2?
@earthnet42 G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2000
wat air cooling are you using and does this over clock apply for the p6x58d-e motherboard?
Have the same motherboard. What type of memory are you using?
@JonTranzport idk man, ill figure it out, probably gfx card temps, 400 series are known for it.
@drocks22 cool i have 17 930 p6t deluxe v2 radeon 5870 4 gig ram 1600mhz ddr3 win 7 64 bit h50 watercooling but i don’t understand why ur system overheats
check that everything u changed when u were overclocking is right
@JonTranzport i7 930, asus p6x58d premium, gtx 480 sc, 6 gig 1600 mhz ddr3 corsair dominator, win7 64 bit, asetek liquid cooling cpu.
@drocks22 how kinda system do u have
my cpu keeps overheating though, and i get the blue screen and it restarts alot. im running water cooling too.
very cool tutorial brotha! you got my rep!
@meanClo7h ok thanks i have water cooling system
@JonTranzport 50c max while gaming on air cooling.
how kinda temperature are u getting
