  4. MASTRCHIEFMOE says:

@Notebook43 LOL. you have to go into the BIOS,although i dont think its a good idea for you to do it because (not to be mean) i dont think you know what you’re doing

  5. Notebook43 says:

@MASTRCHIEFMOE i think its an asus 1, where is the advanced CPU settings? cant find it @ the control panel

  6. MASTRCHIEFMOE says:

@koolbart1 lol thats what i said "u cant use 22x multiplier with turbo boost disabled" you pretty much told me what i told you lol nvm

  7. MASTRCHIEFMOE says:

@Notebook43 what motherboard do you have? i have never used anything but gigabyte so if you have an asus one or whatever the layout will be different, generally its in the advanced cpu settings go in there select turbo boost and disable it,pretty straight forward.

  8. Notebook43 says:

@MASTRCHIEFMOE How do i enable/disable turboboost on my intel core i7 860? I always thought it was auto enabled at demanding scenarios?

  9. illkillyoubitch says:

on my asus rampage III formula it allowed me to use 24x multi on 950 without turbo I believe. But my new Gigabyte board needs turbo on to use 24x. I am pretty sure I didn’t need it on the Asus. So maybe sometimes you don’t, not sure.

  10. koolbart1 says:

@MASTRCHIEFMOE cheers mate, but if you turn the turbo off you will not be able to use 22x multiplier (: but thanks for the info

  11. MASTRCHIEFMOE says:

@koolbart1 yep,but its highly recommended that u leave turbo off when u overclock

  12. koolbart1 says:

@MASTRCHIEFMOE you cant? so if i turn on turbo you would be able to use 22x multiplier?

  13. MASTRCHIEFMOE says:

u cant use 22x multiplier with turbo boost disabled
