The Ultimate CPU Overclocking Guide!
First of all, this method worked on my Sony VAIO laptop with a mobility radeon 5650 GPU. I cant guarantee if itll work on other ATI Radeon GPUs as well. If youre not sure, dont do it. Secondly, I take no responsibility for any damageerrorswarranty issues that you may encounter once youve overclocked your GPU. Do it at your own risk!! Thirdly, if youre using a Desktop PC, make sure your GPU has adequate cooling to accomodate the increased clock frequencies. Also, the values I entered in the video, ie 550MHz and 950MHz are specific to the video card on my laptop, ie the mobility radeon 5650. If you have other GPUs such as the 5870, 5770, etc. the values you will enter will be different. Heres the link to the setup .exe file of the AMD GPU clock tool. docs.google.com OR www.techpowerup.com Most importantly, dont go crazy overclocking your GPU in large increments. Always enter values within the maximum range of your Graphics card leave ample headroom. I also suggest entering values in smaller increments, say 25MHz each time, and checking how stable the system is. Then repeating the process until you find a sweetspot.
