The Ultimate CPU Overclocking Guide!
A quick tutorial to show you how easy it is to overclock your GT330M. Note: Before overclock, make sure your ac adapter is connected to your Vaio. My recommended overclocking settings are: core clock – 575 shader clock – 1265 Memory clock – 890 With these settings, your Vaio Z max temp. wouldnt go above 90*C I would recommend you get a notebook cooler if you feel that you need it.

damn i know its only 2 months ago but i sold my laptop got a m11x now but if i remember correctly with enough cooling (just made sure the hot air got out) the highest was
75°Celsius
358kelvin
175Fahrenheit
I didnt know which temp you use but here you go
@crayonmastah what temps are you getting?
@SonyVaioZ2010 hey about how much fps increase did you get in your games overall? 10-15 maybe? if i did it i would set core to 550, shader to 1245, and memory to 850….would that be a good set up?
hey where did you get that intel i7 cpu monitor widget from? thats hot
@SonyVaioZ2010 Sony Z, i7 2.66 GHz, 8GB Ram, 256 GB SSD, Geforce GT 330 M, Windows 7 Professional 64bit.
that works only at vaio??
’cause i have turbo-x
for how long can you have it overclock before it shut down itself or heat temp rises?
@SonyVaioZ2010 gt330 2gb i look at usage of video memory and there is only 1020mb in usage how can i get 2gb? to get more graphics
I use Nvidia Inspector 1.91 my oc settings are:
GPU Clock: 700Mhz
MemoryClock 900Mhz
Shaderclock: 1550Mhz
Voltage:same

@fenrisulfr999 What is your laptop specs?
Hi, thanks a lot for the video. I have a problem though, I tried to get the memory clock to 890, but the slider only allows for 840. Do you know how can I change that?

@robinbob56 The default fan can hold it but it depends on how well the fan can actually take out heat at maximum load.
do you need one fan more or can the defaut one hold it??
@ChampionPride2009 No, but if you overclock it too much and the temperatures reach over 85 Celsius, you might get a black screen, or the PC might shutdown. Till this day, I never experienced any problems because my laptop temps were under 85 celsius under heavy load.
did you have any problems after a few days?
@wwefanvladislav What do you mean?
what does overclocking
@SonyVaioZ2010 Thanks bro
@fabior2 Its called ‘welcome to the world’ by Kevin Rudolf
i have a samsung r580 i have to do the same as you
@SonyVaioZ2010 Under max load my gpu goes as highest to 81 celesus and fan is going max rpms sometimes the fan even restarts
