The Ultimate CPU Overclocking Guide!
A quick tutorial to show you how easy it is to overclock your GT330M. Note: Before overclock, make sure your ac adapter is connected to your Vaio. My recommended overclocking settings are: core clock – 575 shader clock – 1265 Memory clock – 890 With these settings, your Vaio Z max temp. wouldnt go above 90*C I would recommend you get a notebook cooler if you feel that you need it.

@robinbob56 The default fan can hold it but it depends on how well the fan can actually take out heat at maximum load.

  17. robinbob56 says:

do you need one fan more or can the defaut one hold it??

  18. SonyVaioZ2010 says:

@ChampionPride2009 No, but if you overclock it too much and the temperatures reach over 85 Celsius, you might get a black screen, or the PC might shutdown. Till this day, I never experienced any problems because my laptop temps were under 85 celsius under heavy load.

  19. ChampionPride2009 says:

did you have any problems after a few days?
