Pls help me mate, i want to buy this CPU but ive bought a Thermaltake frio heatsink, its a 1156 socket, this is an 1155 socket but its ‘compatible’ with socket 1156 heatsinks, what exactly does that mean? and whats the difference between these sockets?
Sooo if i oc it to 4.6ghz and then use a single threaded application will it jump up to 5ghz then?

@FsimulatorX Yeah I have rex on mly Flight Simulator and the new VTBS for fsx Thailand airport that why I want to over clock and gonna buy high end overclock CPU fan:)

For itself? Pretty much most gaming is for performance, i3 is just for common tasks, i5 and i7 are capable of playing modern games on the highest settings. I mean, you probably play them at medium on around 20-40 fps, this things do them on the highest settings (provided you have a good GPU) at over 60fps.
