@ProjectRealityBf2 – It will, not too much though…

  2. ProjectRealityBf2 says:

@arvutihull I’m running a GTX 470 right now with no issues and I doubt if I add a second one there is going to be no bottleneck with this kind of overclock.

  3. arvutihull says:

@ProjectRealityBf2 – All depends on what graphics setup you’re using.

  4. ProjectRealityBf2 says:

@arvutihull so not even worth running it at 4.2 ghz at those voltages 24/7, I run my i7-875K @ 3.9 ghz 1.3v 24/7 and find that overclocking anything over 3.9 gives almost no performance improvements!

  5. colonybikes1 says:

@arvutihull that why i say for me not the same depends on the rig

  6. arvutihull says:

@colonybikes1 – Yes, everything depends on the graphics card. With high-end graphics card there is bigger difference, with mid-end graphics card very slight difference and with low-end graphics card no difference at all.

  7. colonybikes1 says:

for me when i OC 4.0Ghz with my core i5 750 i got no improvement on FPS.

  8. arvutihull says:

@winkipinky – Check my channel’s FAQ in my channel description for an answer.

  9. winkipinky says:

WTF is that terrible sound on your video…….?!

  10. arvutihull says:

    3,8GHz VS. 4,2GHz with 5970 about 5FPS difference.

  11. 3D8n52DmV37EI6oHeX says:

i know about 5970, right now the only reason for this card is huge resolution, so how much additional fps do you have with 4.2Ghz?

  12. arvutihull says:

4870 X2 isn’t really a weak graphics card. I have a 5970 now and must say that the upgrade really wasn’t worth it, 5970 isn’t much faster in games, with current drivers at least.

  13. 3D8n52DmV37EI6oHeX says:

what the reason for this comparison, you weak point is graphic, with two 5870 or 5970 test will be much interesting and useful

  14. arvutihull says:

True. In my latest benchmarking videos I’m moving task manager on my desktop so it jumps to 4200MHz for a second.

  15. stormwarrior78 says:

it you take 200mhz bus x 12 multiplier you get only 2.4ghz .. its says nothing about any 4.2 ghz.. i dont say that i dont belive you i only say that you show dont conferm that you runs on 4.2ghz :)

  16. arvutihull says:

200 bus speed shows it. Also the idle temps and performance difference between 3,8GHz and 4,2GHz shows it.

  17. stormwarrior78 says:

okey! Well shouldnt you show the viewers that its clocked to 4.2ghz that it is what it is?

  18. arvutihull says:

It is 4,2GHz, CPU downclocks itself when on idle (with power saving enabled).

  19. stormwarrior78 says:

hey .. the cpu is not 4.2 ghz its 2.4ghz.. !!

  20. arvutihull says:

If you have just one client it will use one core.

  21. richmeister4eva says:

i ahve a quad core can i use more than one client to utilize all my cores or does it do that anyways

  22. arvutihull says:

I have so many to get more points out of my CPU. They’re regular clients so they’re easy to set up and pause when necessary.

  23. richmeister4eva says:

i see you have folding at home clients in the corner why do you have so many?

  24. Twisted86 says:

    @yespleasefen
The price you pay for good overclocks.

Difference between silent and loud for my Q6600 is 3.2ghz and 3.8ghz. I choose loud and headphones :)

  25. arvutihull says:

Turn down your speakers, there’s nothing to listen in this video.
