    Hello. I P7P55D, and ati 6950 2gb. There are 2 slots: 1 (2.0_1 PCIe x16 slot (blue, at x16 link) 2 (2.0 PCIe x16_2 slot (black, at x4 link). I have connected the ati 6950 in 2 (2.0 PCIe x16_2 slot (black, at x4 link). If I put you in the first slot I’ll have better performance? Help me ….

    @neroinaction you can overclock every pc, but i whould not overclock a laptop. Problem is the cooling, higher overclocking = higher temps. My pc got a big cooler, your laptop has not.

    @neroinaction There are different tools to Monitor you need, the overclocking tool was on the motherboardt disk. And the benefit is. A 20% faster pc.

    it is common knowledge for experienced overclockers that a multiplyer of 21 is more stable than 20. doesnt matter why, it just is.

    hi i’m just wondering is it possible for me to Overclock to 3.6-3.8GHz Stable?
    currently im running stack 2.66ghz
    My System Spec

    Motherboard=Asus P7P55D Pro
    CPU=Intel i5-750
    RAM=4GB DDR3 1600MHz Corsair CMX4GX3M2A1600C9
    CASE=Coolermaster CM Storm
    Side Panel Fan= 122m Antec Tricool (red led)
    Air Cooling= Coolermaster V8
    Video Card =Geforce 480 GTX(single card for now)

    Do you know why I get BSODs everytime I OC the CPU?? I use the TurboV EVO. Once I increase the freq I go and run Everest stability test and it fails in like 3 seconds and I get BSOD. I have 1600MHz Corsair mem.
