Intel, launching new Oakl trail processors for tablets next month

Currently based on ARM chips make up the processing power of most of the tablets have a hit on the street.  However, as Tablet reviews UK reports that Intel is hope is not too late to get into the Tablet space.  Is likely to be another year before Microsoft Windows is able to work on based on ARM chips, Intel and AMD chips have little time to processors for Windows-based Tablet.  Intel is hoping its chipset next generation Intel Atom oak trail may compete with ARM-based processors in price, performance and energy consumption.


Everything in the PC Advisor say that Intel new oak trail platform must be ready to ship start at the end of may or beginning of June.  The first offer will be Intel Atom Z670, 1,5 GHz x 86 processor with support for hyperthreading, 512 KB of L2 cache and a controller of the 32-bit memory. The chip also includes hardware decode support for HD video.
