can somebody tell me if there is something wrong with my core i5 2500k default core speed ??? I ran the CPU-Z software and it says that my default Core Speed is @ 1605.x Mhz, and the multiplier is x 16.0…..shouldnt this be around the 3400 Mhz with a 34.0 multiplier ??? I havent messed with overclocking btw or anything like that…

    What cooler do you use?

  13. gaspy75 says:

@R3APERvsTYETREE thanks a lot :-) . Dissi Noctua D-14 is my allied to reach 5Ghz. It’s very big dissi but it works very well. This computer is used only for FSX and after 3 hours in low fly all work fine without temperature problem.

  14. R3APERvsTYETREE says:

@gaspy75 glad u got to 5ghz or very close to, welcome to the club :)

  15. gaspy75 says:

    @gaspy75 yes, i7 2600k. with 1305 solved :-)
103.2*48 @ 1.375v pll enable 4.953GHz stable temp max 79C stress test, 66C with fsx max detauls

  16. SupaPoopaScoopa says:

@gaspy75 You sure you have a K-series i7? What voltages are you running?

  17. ImperviousMason says:

what kind of volts are you getting?

  18. mathias921 says:

  19. Crazymanaj says:

    I have a strange problem CPU-Z says I have 2 cores and 4 threads and I got i7 2600k…..
Anyone know what the problem is?

  20. gaspy75 says:

updated p8p67 with bios 1302 but nothing to do :-(
runs on w7 @5GHz with 79°C but mobo not start in a cold boot.
if multi is higher then 43x it doesn’t boot. :-(
I set 43x with Asus AI before shutdown every time.
tomorrow i will try with 1305 bios but never will change for me….

  21. R3APERvsTYETREE says:

@gaspy75 Any changes made will carry on to the newer bioses the 1053 adds a setting that was invisible before its this setting that allows you to go higher.
So you could just skip the others and just flash the latest.

  22. R3APERvsTYETREE says:

@WorldPixa Thats exactly what im doing, so yes it is.

  23. WorldPixa says:
