I like the idea of Microsoft new motion sensing technology for Kinect Xbox 360, but the feeling that technology needs to mature, to get beyond the stage of it. But the first gen devices may not do so far.

Great guys at iFixit have got their hands on the thing and is Kinect usual teardown and which is not what I think may be a weak link in device-gears, which manages the movement of the head of the motion:

This seems awfully fine for me and I will be very carefully for even small drops of twisting of the head and these appliances seems ripe for extraction.

If you are buying one, be slightly on it!
