This is an odd coupling, but perhaps will work. Lady Gaga is teaming with Zynga to release songs from her upcoming “born this way” album of FarmVille players on the 23 May edition of the album.

“Born this way” songs will be provided exclusively in “GagaVille,” neighbouring farm within FarmVille Zynga online world that online game developer is building in partnership with clear channel radio.

Clear channel will stream previously unreleased songs of the Lady Gaga by its player, as well as promoting iHeartRadio promotion through its properties of the media, the company said in a statement Tuesday.

FarmVille players have to “run the Gaga-themed guests” to unlock the clear channel iHeartRadio player and hear the songs.

“Radio was the Lady Gaga virtual stage from the outset, allowing fans to connect with its 24-7, and this is another extension of this stage,” says Bob Pittman, Chairman of clear channel media and entertainment platforms, in the report.
