    Oc genie sucks it freezes my pc i can over clock it my self higher and it doesn’t even freeze while playing games the other one freezes WHILE STARTING UP.

    @adamjamesroe The difference between locked and unlocked is the inability to mess with the multiplier for the most part. If you increase the Base Clock of the motherboard, everything, including the CPU would operate at higher frequencies, regardless of what it wants. The great thing about unlocked CPUs is they can be overclocked independently from the rest of the components without messing with base clocks.

    Figured it out needed latest bios. I did achieve 5Ghz primes well and is at 76 celcius full load.

    I just bought this same setup by chance and I can’t get the mobo to up the voltage to my cpu. Even oc genie keeps it at 1.2v. Would like to do 1.4-1.5v so I can do close to 5ghz. What’s the deal?
