With the announcement of the new GeForce GTX 560 video card yesterday (I hope to soon to do a quick test to see how it performs Stereo 3D mode with 3D vision), Nvidia also provides a new beta version of the drivers with some interesting new features, which together with the typical and expected profits. The interesting thing with regard to improving the productivity of new drivers is the claimed increase performance to games 12% for dual-core Processor in limited cases. The new GeForce driver 275.27 beta also comes with an improved Nvidia update functionality, so that now also not only notify of new drivers that are provided, but you can also download and install automatically SLI multi-GPU and anti nicknames (AA) profile updates.

The new driver package includes 3D vision controller driver version 275.22, so that you do not need to download and install separately nothing to resolve an IR emitter and make 3-d vision work as it should, and obviously also improved 3D vision IR emitter and 3D vision glasses synchronization (not sure whether this will lead to reduce crosstalk, or may be some problems are with computers based on AMD processors). New driver also adds support for 3D vision photo viewer in window mode (check the view option in the player), and it adds a new 3D vision-ready projector – series of NEC NP-V300X.

The new GeForce driver version 275.27 added following game profiles for 3D vision: age of Empires online battlefield Play4Free, Super Street Fighter IV and the world of tanks. There is an improved profile for Portal 2-water reflection problem and updated to ensure the practical Convergence of consumers, as well as an improved profile for 2 of the Witcher, which must ensure better compatibility for 3D vision for all game effects.

Unfortunately I am currently away for a few days from my stereo 3D system, so that I am able to test new drivers immediately, but you are welcome to share your feedback on how the work for you …
