I’ve always been fond of listening to classic rock ballad and power ballad songs, especially on rainy afternoons. The main reason why I still love rock of the 1970s and 1980s is that this is the time when the original greatest guitarists.

Well as my favorite guitarists Vito Bratta, John Petrucci and mark Tremonti. These guitarists are well known for its “cry” featured the message of the song they play. Rob Dickinson of the GnR, of course you have talent, but his attitude is a Let-down.

I’ve tried to collect my top ten favorite guitar solos and share it. The solos are not wholly from the 1970s and 1980s. It ranges from 70 to as recent as February 2008.

Note: I do not rely on this list for how complex is played solo or how popular it is, I do based on how solo goes with the song and course overall feeling when you listen to it.

OK. To start counting.

10. Don’t Stop now (Mcfly version. this song is originally by Queen, but is better of Mcfly solo.)
-This song is a song of feeling good coverage from Mcfly. Listen to the first part of the song feel good and when to solo, sweet!

9. are there? (Oleander)
-I loved, listening to this song when I was in high school for one reason alone, soloww guitar!!

8. I can wait forever (simple plan)
-Rare guitar solo by simple plan.  Most solo guitar, you can get from pop punk/power pop group.

7. you (Skid Row) recall
-Solid song with a solid lead. Love listening to this song during the night, where I am now lying in bed with lighting provided by while thinking of my former classmates. It could become sad sometimes.

6. November Rain (Guns N ‘ Roses)
-Everyone knows and you heard this solo.
Everyone likes it (you can even expect it to be at the top of this list). And I also …

5. pieces (Linkin Park)
-I’ve always been a fan of Brad Delson. I think his music style significantly defines the sound of Linkin Park. He was critisized for not performing guitar solos. His reason is that does not fit the solos of the sounds of Linkin Park and does ‘ nt that he wanted to. But now that Linkin Park has left neo rock genre and focused more on the heavy rock material, Brad Delson, finally shows his skills in writing and performing guitar solos.

“In pieces” is a special song from Linkin Park, because it is their first song to have a solo guitar.

4. it will be for you (meat loaf)
-Meat loaf was known for his theatrical rock stable and powerful vocals. I respect, listening to lots of his song, but this is the best for me. Solo guitar made me like it even more.

3. To my last (alter bridge)
-Alter Bridge is technically creed 2. It compose of Franco-religion articles and new vocalist Myles Kennedy, who in my opinion is better than Scott Stapps as a singer. Here is Mark Tremonti solo of their song my last. His song melodic, emotional perfectly delivered in heavy rock.

2. open your eyes (alter bridge)
-Its a different code from alter bridge again. This solo, illustrates what the Mark Tremonti to do really with the guitar. This is one of those solos, which just makes you say “awesome … wish I can do this.”.

1. Broken Heart (White Lion)
-For me this is the most solo guitar made because it passes exactly with the emotion of the song so perfectly note by note.

It is performed by Vito Bratta. It is not only a great musician but also as a person. He gives the fame and money to take care of his sick father. He is the unsung hero of the White Lion hits such as “when the children Cry”. He is considered to have written most guitar solos from the 1980s. It is the heart and soul of the age of the White Lion. This is just sad that it is not included in the music industry more and lived in the House of his childhood in New York and according to the website, it “works with computers”. He is one, even the most underacclaimed guitarist of all time. As in the hard rock band White Lion, as he really is a classical guitar player and plays a blazingly fast classical compositions consisting of liquid lead lines, revealing rhythm playing and complex melodic solos. Its level is a virtuoso guitarist. I have said enough about it, let’s get to solo are we?
