Well, I know, it is extremely easy to overclock AMD Phenom Processor for the edition of black. Just up multiple CPU and can get CPU overclocked. Usually do this in the BIOS or with the AMD Overdrive under windows. Although the AOD is an excellent tool for overclock, I believe that very slowly when applying settings. But there is an excellent light weight utility to overclock your CPU USAGE in windows – Phenommsrtweaker. Although I don’t like the name of the tool, just like functions, it provides.

Tool for overclock on Phenom is light weight, fast and can be used to automatically your Phenom Cpu to overclock, where this is necessary. This is a great tool and just love it. But the disadvantage is that you can only use the tool with Black Edition Phenom for Cpu to overclock. But I don’t think that is a problem, since many of us are already there BE Phenom II processor. (Update: it is also possible to overclock CPU not BE if HTT and other things that have been set up in the BIOS. Thus, one can manipulate the multiplier under windows with this tool to automatically overclock Phenom family processor all.)

Overclocking Phenom II is your CPU is extremely easy in windows. Will explain how to do so here. Before this you need the following tools.

Phenommsrtweaker
Prime95 (to test for stability)
HWMonitor (to check CPU temperature)
CPUz (to know if overvolted and COU is overclocked)

To start, disable C and Q by Bios, leaving it enabled causes instability.

Open Phenommsrtweaker, CPUz and HWMonitor and stores all Windows visible all the time.

1. in Phenommsrtweaker to the “core” multis “will see four fields where you have the option to set the CPU multiplier. Increase the multiplier up one in all four fields (for me, the default is 15, so I it increased to 16). , And then click apply.

2. check the CPUz if overclocked processor. You can see to the “Core speed”.

3. must verify your overclock stability. Open the Prime95 small FFTs, select, and then click OK. This will highlight your Cpu with Max. Run the test for several hours. If you overclock is stable, your system should not block or throwing BSOD.

4. If you find that your overclock is stable follow step 1 again to increase the multiplier, but this time to 0.5. Check if the overclock shall enter into force on the CPUz, and do the same stress test again.

5. To follow the same procedure until your system is unstable. Now you’ve discovered the max overclock your CPU voltage is obtained stocks.

6. Now you have to find out whether you can get more high overclocks the CPU vcore. In Phenommsrtweaker select the factor at which the Processor is not stable. In the box next to “MY CPU, you can adjust the CPU vcore. Enlarge 1 degree, and then click apply. If you do not change the Cpu vcore, it increased again, and apply to see if it is changed. If it is changed, well and good (it must be changed in the next one or two steps), you can continue to step 7. If the vcore does not change, try increasing the “NB MY”. In some motherboards change “NB MY” affect the CPU voltage.

adjusting vcore

7. Stress test, using Prime95 can confirm stability. If the system crashes during testing, increase vcore up one channel, or until the system is running correctly, Prime95.

8. To find out if your processor may overclock more, follow step 6 until your processor does not meet the high vcore. This is the Max overclock, you can get.

Note: Always stress test your Cpu for at least 2 hours of Cpu is stable.

Some thoughts:

Overclockers overclock CPU to improve the productivity of the system. Often do so at the expense of consumption and increased heat. Since the overclockers, you must turn off cool and quiet for stability, they must run the processor in Max ° C, leading to increased power usage even when the system is idle.

This has been bugging me for a long time, until I realized that the Phenommsrtweaker can be used for automatic handling of P-States of the Phenom processors, if and when necessary.
For most of us electricity consumption may not be a problem. But what if you automatically overclock Phenom II CPU to you, when necessary, without prejudice to stability and consumption?

We have explained in my previous post about how to use Phenommsrtweaker to automatically overclock your CPU when searching. I’m using it for quite some time and it works perfectly. I would also like to recommend that the others who want to overclock their systems but do not want to consume more power when idle. And finally, this is not an extensive AMD Phenom II overclocking Guide, but will give an idea how to OC Phenom Processor under windows. UDABC4YQNPWH
