I know socket 775 or socket T is almost dead by the video upload, but many people have it and probably will buy it, because of its power and low price at newegg right now. So, simply with the Intel Core 2 Duo e8400 and after its overclocked to 4Ghz and FSB 2000 MHZ(500Mhz) – you can be faster then i3 or equal to i5 at stocks – which is a good deal. I suggestion you to have x48 or p45 for a best socket 775 overclocking experience. Asus, Gigabyte or Foxconn Premium boards and MSI premium boards are good.
