P6T7 SuperComputer MB OverClocking i7 950 Gaming Rig @ 4.5ghz [AMD]RADEON 6970 CrossFire

Check out this *secret* site where it’ll show you a cool trick that actually TRIPLES your PC’s performance… Plus tons more!

The Ultimate CPU Overclocking Guide!
This is it, the gaming rig that makes the FSX videos. Flight Simulation is a great hobby of mine and requires a strong processor to pull all of its graphic potential. Previously this Rig was up to 4.2 ghz but that was not enough, so Ive taken it to 4.5 ghz with a new processor and also changed the graphics cards to 2 6970s in Crossfire. Many may say that they read in a forum that you dont need 2 cards and I challenge that idea. The reason behind it is, one card can get overly stressed and over heated which causes tears and other graphical anomolies that just ruin the flight sim experience. When you have Two cards, it takes the load off the one card and shares it between two and provides a smoother less stressed flight sim experience. I have tried this time and time again. Believe me when I tell you, it is worth it. Thank you for stopping by my channel and watching this video. Hello. I P7P55D, and ati 6950 2gb. There are 2 slots: 1 (2.0_1 PCIe x16 slot (blue, at x16 link) 2 (2.0 PCIe x16_2 slot (black, at x4 link). I have connected the ati 6950 in 2 (2.0 PCIe x16_2 slot (black, at x4 link). If I put you in the first slot I’ll have better performance? Help me ….

whats the voltage and stuff to get it to 4.5? im getting a 950 and want to do a big overclock, but its my first overclock.

  3. TheAirbusAviator says:

How do you overclock your cpu? without using the Bios or clockgen.

wow, another P6T7 alumni. We are few and far between. Great setup and awesome specs. Your p6t7 Supercomputer will be much more hardcore with an I7-970 Hexacore. IT’s a vast improvement over the I7-950. my specs are similar to yours except the 4 ssd’s and a extra hd 6970. my (1) hd6970 destroys crysis on enthusiast settings – 80 plus – fps using fraps. I know you may be able to squeeze a few more frames out of your flight sim using an i7-970.

    Peace, Bro

@CaNxYoUxStoP You need to add mr as a friend on skype so I can see you scenery settings. I will correct them if wrong. And if I notice anything else that needs adjustment.

  6. CaNxYoUxStoP says:

cann you please help me how to enable crossfire for FSX!!?? its enabled but i dont see a difference in performance and some people get like a 30% boost, but I DONT SEE IT! please help me

DAMN PC&TECNOLOGIES …..UR PC IS BETTER THAN MINE XDD
    cool )

Marc, my friend! Nice video i loooooove the clip when u rotate around the 747, and i don’t know how da h… u managed to make that clip. Did u use DBS or EZdok?
    Thumbs up!

  9. EICASActivitee says:

@marcanthonystorm K Thanks. I was wondering how much did the computer cost over all?

  10. marcanthonystorm says:

@Dexter11929 watch all of my latest videos and there you will find the answer. I’ve had better results with my ATi card. thank you for watching.

  11. Dexter11929 says:

Wow that’s a nice computer dude…the reason I didn’t get a ati card is because people said it’s not as good with FSX as nvidia is that true?

  12. CaNxYoUxStoP says:

@marcanthonystorm yeah, i got the powercolor 5850 pcs+ overcloked edition and just bought the xfx 5850 black edititon which is overclocked, and my i7-930 was at 3.8ghz but i brough it back down for some reason dont know why!!

  13. marcanthonystorm says:

@CaNxYoUxStoP On second thought I guess it would be like having one 5970 so you should be ok. most important is to get the CPU up to 4.0 or better.

  14. marcanthonystorm says:

@CaNxYoUxStoP Go with 2 5870, that would be better.

  15. CaNxYoUxStoP says:

you think 2 ati 5850s would be good?
i ordered a new one yesterday

  16. JerdooFlightX says:

Nice rig, no offence in anyway, the thing is that FSX isn’t designed to run on 2 cards to get better FPS, it uses one card to run the game on. Second what is interesting to know, what are the FPS with FRAPS running as some people wanna make video’s ;) you can have a processor running at 4.5GHz but without any traffic and an airport add on like madrid barajas you will get good FPS, turn those things on and FPS will drop bigtime. Ow and ATI drivers hate flightsims ;)

  17. marcanthonystorm says:

@EICASActivitee I keep it locked at 30 so it doesn’t have any unusual spikes or loss for example being at 60 and suddenly down to 9 would be very noticeable. Hope that made sense.

  18. EICASActivitee says:

whats your FPS without Payware aircrafts and scenery’s?

  19. haydensupra says:

nice rig for fsx although the money spent could have got you your ppl which is £2000 and you could be flying in real life instead of playing fsx. i personally wouldnt waste so much money on a pc for fsx its a hog and poorly written and is now starting too look its age in the graphics sector nice one man though heck of a ltot of cash to spend lol

  20. marcanthonystorm says:

@AviatorHD I usually get around 27 – 30 in payware like UK 2000 Heathrow. Madeira I tried with Captain Sim 757 yesterday and it was 30. I will try to make a note in new videos to describe the FPS for the scenery.

  21. FSDoctor76 says:

Ok, that’s it! I quit making fsx vids because my i7 is paper compared to this and I’ll use mine to just watch porn :D

  22. marcanthonystorm says:

@blackmambalim I’ve used multi cards in the past because it is less stressful on the cards when you do sli or crossfire. Single core cards get very hot when running Fsx to the max which causes tears or maybe your plans textures disappear. And that will happen. But with multi cards it doesn’t. For the record these cards don’t produce micro stutter. 3DMark Vantage was the smoothest I’ve ever seen it especially in boat scene from Jane Nash. 6970′s in crossfire actually work.

  23. AviatorHD says:

whats the FPS rate @ BIG CITIES with payware aircrafts…

n wat cooler u use for CPU
