AMD most fan, Daniel Andersson, visited the headquarters of AMD in Austin, Texas
Day, I started testing products-undertaking that will ultimately land me with my first Cpu AMD – AMD forever is etched in my memory. Fifteen years later, it has evolved from an ordinary purchase. This week, became the incredible opportunity to travel around the world to visit the headquarters of AMD in the United States!
When the first for AMD, I was a novice user of the computer. I remember sitting in a friend’s apartment, study of AMD and Intel hardware offers. AMD caught my eye because of better performance and price. After a comprehensive look at the two, I knew, AMD is a natural fit for me. I never looked back. My interests have shifted from the AMD fast “newbie” experience to all our “AMD most fan.” I know AMD products as on the back of my hand and my trip to AMD in Austin, Texas has opened my eyes to the company as a whole. Here is a dream come true. I’m finally able to watch the spirit of AMD in-person and fully grasp what AMD stands.
I use my AMD products for folding in the Folding @ home and the world network of Community, but I also play games on my computer and my AMD Forum administer the site. My best advice for people who have a purchase of computer hardware is to ask yourself, “What am I will use my computer for?” from there, find what works for you at the correct price.
As regards my trip to United States my first day I was picked up in my hotel by Simon Solotko, General Manager of AMD of social media, to turn off my visit to their headquarters. I had meetings with several members of the AMD staff, including the possibility to meet in-person with John Taylor, Director of customer product and software marketing and Phil Hughes, head of the senior public relations, with whom I’ve been building relationships online over the past few months. I read about his work in AMD and get to them online.
Brad Burgess, AMD Chief chip architect, Daniel Andersson and Roger Jennings, Director of AMD senior designNot only have I met AMD staff, but I am unable to see some great things my guest. I’ve had the opportunity to visit the secret laboratories and to see the “Knives” and “Llano” and work for testing. The team of AMD even see me, “Zambezi”! The team has many more activities and plans for this week-I’m so excited!
When I’m not AMD, I’ve been foreseeably Guero Taco bar for great Mexican food. The people of Austin have been kind and friendly and the city has so much to offer. It is a beautiful and very different from the place where I live in Sweden.
This week, I am able to share my passion for AMD with the team and you are able to share their passion for the company. My trip has proved exactly how hard the AMD team works to produce superior quality and innovative products. This is a small and far between these days!
Thanks for reading and hope to connect with other fans of AMD soon! Feel free to give me a shoutbox on Twitter visit my AMD forum for more information (although I warn you, it is in Swedish). Stay tuned for more information about my travel this week.

P.S. My absolute favorite AMD product must be my Phenom II CPU X 6 1090T!
