I have a mechanical device that produces through a USB port and offers the y-axis data of the Windows game controllers.

I would like to take this data and save it in a Web browser. The data will not be stored or saved any more than the browser window.

As far as I’m aware DirectInput (part of DirectX) has access to these data, and if there is a way to output it live with the aid of a browser is super.

Please note, I’m not looking to be able to have this Done remotely, this page will be local page resides on a computer with the equipment.

For the purposes of this discussion of the HTML document will act as a local application.

You can always write the same java application using the JInput: https://jinput.dev.java.net/
If this does not suit your needs. Then your application, which covers the input events can write the latest introduction or perhaps a buffer of input data, in the event that the treatment is too slowly to a file, you can use a java applet or maybe some kind of dhtml, which is located in cycle checking for changes in the input file and read, if necessary. Each time, deleting the entry (s) who have just been processed. Must watch though for simultaneous access. I know that is not even close to the best, but if you do not understand something better, this is something to think about. This is the way to do without having to perform any type of server.

An RSS feed using DHTML may have another idea.

Not exactly the best ideas, but I’m tired and not think of anything more right now.
I am curious about how you can do this. When you can solve this problem, please post how it made?
