The Ultimate CPU Overclocking Guide!
Hey guys… Unboxing my new DOA motherboard. Well i was going to start another upgrade with a new motherboard and decided to get a MSI 770t-C45 motherboard from newegg. It seemed pretty good but it was DOA… (its already been sent back for repairreplace) I guess thats what i get for buying open box items… rofl good thing i have everything included and good thing MSI only requires the serial number XD… So as soon as I get my new shiny mobo back I will start overclocking my x2 240… my goal it 3.8ghz XD now that would bring some life into the system… later i wil be getting a new hard drive (minimum 250gb) and will be getting at least 1gb more of ram… I will also replace my Logitech X540 speakers for a new home theater system soon… =) btw guys, although i have already proven that ram is my bottleneck, i have found another proof, i downloaded gamebooster today and that program closes things using ram… it closed around 105mb and gave me a few more fps on my minimum fps in crysis… so 105mb gives me a little more so 1gb ram stick will be good… this motherboard has 4 ram slots which means i will get 2x2gb 2x1gb in the future for 6gb and also will be getting a new cpu…. i might skip ddr3 completely and wait for ddr4 in 2012… =) thanks for watching Specs: AMD Athlon X2 240 @ 3.1ghz (soon to be 3.8ghz XD) (later to be better {depends on how much money i have}) Wintec 2gb DDR2 800mhz Single stick of ram (later to become 3gb+ total) EVGA GTX 460 768mb @ 850mhz <b>…<b>

@caboos09 HAHAHAAH no, i posted a video of me unboxing it…. i mean its the same thing even if it was working…. its just an unboxing… lol when i get my motherboard back it will be all good XD
Lmao, you also posted a video about it
@AgentHydra yeah reviews on MSI RMAS were horrible before 2007 but it looks like in 2009 they changed. ive heard good things about it. yeah it was DOA but it was open box and i saved $22. shipping was $11 so in the end I saved $11… but its a great board… i was tired of micro atx anyways and the new board in the price range was micro atx. i have a big mid tower and i disliked having to see lots of gray so now it will be taken up by motherboard XD. im not too angry since I have a working mobo
DOA?! that sux. Fortunately you picked a good brand, MSI is good with RMAs
