i3 sandy’s are not unlockable but there is a i5 sandy that is unlockable bit it either has to say i5 2400K and K means unlock, i3 are not..

  2. WoWkiddymage says:

@keiki646 cause i have an i3 2100 wich is clocked to 3.1 ghz?

  3. WoWkiddymage says:

@keiki646 yeah i dont really know 2 much and get confused. can you tell me what the diffrence between the i3 sandy bridge with hyperthreading doesnt come close to the i5 w/out hyperthreadi ng. well idk cause i have an i3 w/ 1 6850 and i want to get playable ghameplay on gta 4 w/ max graphics and another 6850 would be nice but idk hjow much the cpu will bottle neck it :(

  4. keiki646 says:

@WoWkiddymage NO. That question shouldn’t have been asked in the first place…. Don’t take it personal but it was a stupid question if you did know or know anything about Computers..If you didn’t know then don’t take it as if it was a bad thing

  5. WoWkiddymage says:

Will a sandy bridge i5 clocked to around 3.5 GHz bottleneck 2x xfx radeon 6850S?

  6. Cod6Media says:

@keiki646 thanks, i saw that afterwards

  7. keiki646 says:

@Cod6Media it’s listed in the detail info (Patriot Inferno 60GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive)

  8. Cod6Media says:

Hey, like your setup, ive got the same i5, gigabyte p55 ud4 and a ati 5850, cpu is at 4.0 on air atm, i must say thhat these setups are great bang for buck, I like your setup although im puzzled as to why you put your front left speaker wherre it is rather then in the corner, what harddrive are you using to get 7.9 in wondows scores.

  9. luddomatic says:

dude i got it ;D to 4.2 GHz yeay

  10. keiki646 says:

@luddomatic You can’t comment on my video , saying to me that we have the same O.C settings and setup switch in fact we clearly don’t have the same setup, I am using a P55 MB and not H55, There is a big difference there, also the H55 MB MHz when O.C limitation is 175 to 180 (20x). Voltages settings ( not the same either) research before commented and buying

  11. keiki646 says:

@luddomatic part 2, another reason why if you were going to run a Prime95 test for more than 1 to 3 minutes it will fail, system is not stable, Running Prime95 will also critical seek out areas where your O.C is not stable. (Note Have a friend with a H55 Series MB is it fried because he tried to O.C it and he didn’t listen to me) due to temps on the MB were so high. H55 series MB are standard MB with overclocking up to 3.4GHz stable..

  12. keiki646 says:

@luddomatic Let me explain in nerd form for you, You only have 7 power phases, That isn’t enough power phases to do max O.C. Second you have a low end MB and not a High End MB, The H55M USB3 optimized the GPU performance by O.C the GPU core performance up to 13% It’s a standard, The design of the CPU power zone only delivered an 17% O.C gain on CPU (specially with quad Core CPU) i3 & i5 Dual Core CPU are O.C Gain by 23% to 27%, next time do search on MB before you buy them,

  13. keiki646 says:

@luddomatic I don’t think you are understanding about O.C and the H series of gigabyte MB,

  14. luddomatic says:

@keiki646 i think you dont know so much about oVc me too i dont know so much but im getting soon to 4GHz its just the volt was low ! every overclockable motherboard can do more then 4GHz just FYI (for your information)

  15. keiki646 says:

@luddomatic better if you use a P55 MB

  16. luddomatic says:

    @keiki646 im using core i5 750

  17. keiki646 says:

@luddomatic You are using a Gigabyte H55M USB3 w/ i7 1156 chipset with doesn’t have onboard video so you will not be able to take advance of all the features on the motherboard, so therefore you will be better off with a P55 motherboard. You chipset on the motherboard northbridge has limitations and only very few power phases.

everyone knows not to use a H55 with an i7 1156 CPU

  18. keiki646 says:

@luddomatic I believe you saw P55 MB that can do that and not The Hybrid MB because Hybrid MB are for those that new to overclocking and and it a power saver MB feature that can only delivered a small max of power to the CPU, Not enough power power consumption or phases to. Plus the model you have doesn’t have heatsink on the mosfets therefore you will kill you motherboard if you not careful. Motherboard can’t handle the overload on the overclock because it has a limitation

  19. luddomatic says:

@keiki646 -_- i saw many many many ppl who ovc the same rig that i have and they get in to 5 or more GHZ

  20. keiki646 says:

@luddomatic reason why you have blue screen of death is because you are using a H55M motherboard and not a P55 motherboard with more power caps to handle the overclocking, those motherboard are not able to overclock as the same as a P55 MB.

  21. luddomatic says:

@keiki646 :) i know but for the Volt its the same we can use the same things any way :) my volts are like this max i could go to 3.70GHz Vcore: i set it to 1.2 but its using 1.216 QPI v: 1.37 (20×185) after that i got blue screen ;( damn and the temp now its about 45C

  22. keiki646 says:

@luddomatic No it’s not the same as mine, you are using a H55M motherboard and I am using a P55 motherboard, there is a difference

  23. luddomatic says:

@keiki646 ya i did that and its going good but trying really hard to get 4GHz ! i have gig H55M-USB3 (its almost the same yours and mine !)

  24. keiki646 says:

@luddomatic maybe you need to increase the voltage for the QPI 1.25v but what motherboard are you using ?

  25. luddomatic says:

if you have time i need help bcoz im getting blue screen after i over clock 3.20GHz (the temp at that its about 30C
